The U.S. Navy Seabee Museum will host a lecture entitled "A Tale of Three Units at Iwo Jima: USS Blessman, UDT 15, and 133rd NCB; Contemporary Look" Saturday, April 26.
The lecture, given by Dr. Kenneth Mara, deputy director of the recruiting directorate for Naval Special Warfare, will run 1 - 2 p.m. and is free to the public. The Seabee Museum is located on Ventura Road in Port Hueneme, near the intersection of Ventura and Sunkist, just outside Naval Base Ventura County. Base access is not required to visit the museum or attend the lecture. Parking is free on-site. The museum is open Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
